We collect personal information including name, contact details, PAN, Aadhaar, bank details, investment and insurance preferences, and demographic data to offer customized services and ensure regulatory compliance.

SERNET respects your right to privacy. SERNET invite you to visit our website/app to search or browse the website/app without revealing who you are or registering with us. However, if you choose to give SERNET personal information via the Internet, for example in response to the risk profile section, that SERNET may need; it is our intent to let you know how SERNET will use such information. Use of Information

The act of providing your Aadhaar is voluntary in nature, which will only be required for completing your account opening procedure online and for digitally signing the SERNET account opening form. You may alternatively choose to go through the offline route of account opening by physically signing all such account opening documents, which does not require you to share your Aadhaar information.

The data collected is used to:

  • Disseminate information and awareness
  • Open and manage your accounts.
  • Facilitate transactions in compliance with SEBI, IRDAI, and RBI guidelines.
  • Personalize product offerings and communications.
  • Fulfill legal and contractual obligations.

 

Aadhaar User Consent

Aadhaar information is only collected upon explicit user consent. It is used strictly for KYC verification with regulatory bodies and not stored unnecessarily.

  • KYC Agencies and related Government Authorities (Onboarding Services)
  • Banks and Payment Gateways (Banking and Payment Services)
  • Choice Equity Broking Pvt Ltd (Trading Services).

Whenever SERNET collects information that you voluntarily submit, it is SERNET’s intent to inform you of why this information is being requested and how it is going to be used. SERNET will not sell, rent, trade, distribute, exchange, or give your personal identifiable information to any third party without your consent. SERNET shall not be liable for any personal information that you submit to external vendors or to any website/app linked to SERNET and/or it’s Divisions and/or Network’s website/app. We may however release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our website/app policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.
