Most of the profitability ratios and the return on capital ratios are not too relevant to the investor as it has been consistently loss making. In fact, the equity had slipped into negative back in FY24. Hence, the company cannot be valued on traditional earnings-based parameters. It is also making losses at an EBITDA level.
VALUATION METRICS OF ACEVECTOR LTD IPO
The company has been consistently loss-making and even saw the equity capital dip into negative in FY24. Hence traditional parameters like P/E will not work here. However, there are some non-financial metrics that investors can focus on to take a call on whether to invest in the IPO or not.
AceVector Ltd offers the full suite including an ecommerce market place as well as ecommerce enablement through the SAAS model. The focus on value shoppers is likely to give a wider market for the portal in a price-sensitive market like India. The robust unit economics give hope of turn to profitability, with losses already narrowing. However, investors will have to take a more patient approach to the stock.
